New Shoes

My legs have been feeling beat up since Saturday. So I thought I'd try out a new pair of shoes tonight. Whenever I feel beat-up in the feet and lower legs new shoes help. My last pair has got to be my favorite and I'll be missing them as they were broke in. I've only been running in them since mid May, but have put upwards of 300 miles on them so their toast.

Despite the shoes and fact that it started to rain I felt good, almost like a tornado heading for a trailer park. Accept every time I'd stretch out my legs and try to push a trailer out of the way my right leg would hurt. The pain is tolerable and with the new shoes I should be throwing mobile homes after a few more break-in runs.

I am glad to see that 7 people not including my self follow this blog either by e-Mail alerts or in a rss reader. I don't think I know that many people anymore, but hey, If this blog helps one person get into some running shoes and/or just run more I'd be surprised. Why not, running significantly improves your ability to battle through traumatic events. Your body simply runs longer and stronger in any situation.
