Reminiscing the Days Spent Running Along the Beach in Hawaii

First and foremost, my thoughts and prayers go to the people of Hawaii, as I used to live there. When I lived there  at first I was stuck at Schofield Baracks, but then I was lucky enough to move to a golf resort just off the beach.

While running today, I was brought back to my fondest memories in life! Memories such as enjoying a good cigar at a resort  or running on the beach and/or the boardwalk  at KoOlina  Resort. KoOlina is just an awesome place to be; of course, with the exception of today.

Looking at these old pictures of the resort and the beach in Waikiki, it's to bad things have to change so much; moreover, it saddens me to think of the devastation this tsunami could cause? If I were there right now...I'd run up to the top of Kolekole Pass or hike up Diamond Head Trail. Take no chances and may God Bless Hawaii and Chile!

Gotta run,
Chris

UPDATE: Hawaii may have dodged the bullet, but natures out of control!
