This was an exiting run, I especially liked seeing my time, as every mile marker had a timer clock. acording to the timer clocks...my 1st mile was 06:30 2nd 14:00 3rd 21:30 and so on...it was cool, never had to look at my GPS. This time I started towards the front so I never had to pass crowds of slower runners, like the Tyranena Beer Run. Starting this way was a good idea, as I started with forward momentum, violence of action! Was shooting for 45:00 or less, but I was 46:?? something? I forgot to stop my GPS at the finish line so I don't know for sure (until the results are posted). All in all, I'm content with my time I gave 110% as always; next time I'll have to be faster! This is fast... The best part was that I finished my run at about the same exact time my friends Mike and Kelly finished. They ran the 5k and I had a 10 minute head start on them, running the 10k, but what are the chances out of the 1000's of runners to cross the finish line at almost the same time? My other friend "Frank The Tank" came in just under an hour and Tyler and his sister came in shortly there after. Results----> Here Happy Thanksgiving and again, Chris Activity
