Dropped 2°on the Run to 4°only 35min's of HELL

It really wasn't that bad, but I like the cold! For the record, I also like the heat! Guess that makes me a winner either way!

I'd be lying if I said it wasn't cold because, it was. I had a piece of gum in my pocket that by mile two was like a jawbreaker. It was as dark as my future as a squirrel catcher, following the snow covered road was a chore. Thank the Good Lord again for YakTrax!

I wish my sister in law would've been a few seconds faster with the camera as she said..."I looked as if I stuck my head in a snowbank." It wasn't snowing at all and I did not stick my head in a snowbank; hence, it's all sweat and frost plus my breath had a lot to do with it!

A few seconds before this picture, I had frost on my eye lashes; I even felt my nose hairs freezing shut towards the end of the run.

So far I've vanquished mother nature; however, in the coming weeks I may not be so vigorous.

Can't wait for the colder weather,
Chris
