Talk about cold, by mile 7 the sweat was freezing to the head band in my hat! This cold (i.e., bellow freezing) really takes the energy and I even ate a pizza before this run. I was supposed to go to a wedding reception which would've been fun I'm sure; however, someone never picked me up. The last reception I tried to go to, I made into the belly of the beast did a quick scan and b-lined it for the door! I have issues with somethings, especially wedding receptions. Moreover, I believe it has to do with the last wedding reception before Iraq? I'm not a psychiatrist, but things haven't been the same since; however, I'm content with the way they are. I would rather not overlay any new memory's over any old ones. And prefer not to ramble on about it! Oh, while I was running I received a call from my good friend Tabor. Tabor informed me that he and the rest of 3-4 Cav all made it home safely this time. That's about the best thing I've heard in a while! Now, a shower, Call of Duty, and a cold beer! What happened to global warming? Dress warm, Chris Activity
