Dead in the Water, till about the 5th Mile

After a ton of ice cream, I hit the road running. Started out dead in the water just chuggin' along, threw a few hills at myself and they hurt! Thought about just running back home by the top of the second hill (Roby Rd)! I didn't have any gloves only had on a light sweatshirt with just a t-shirt underneath, but perseverance paid off!

By the 5th mile I was warmed up, ditched the winter hat and decided to keep moving. Spent the end of the 5th mile, all of the 6th and part of the 7th mile running hill repeats. Felt like a machine, the hill's on Ridge Street due West of the Stoughton Hospital, it's pretty steep and about a 1/4 mile one way! Although I was feelin' good for the second half of this run, by mile 9 all I could taste was the ice cream.

Gotta run,
